“After retiring a second time as England’s Prime Minister, Winston Churchill addressed the graduating class at Oxford University. Grabbing the lectern with both hands he paused, looked straight at the audience in his unique, Churchillian way, for a full thirty seconds, then said, ‘Never, never, never give up!’ Pausing, he repeated with even greater emphasis, ‘Never, never, never give up!’ Sir Winston continued looking at his audience for a few more seconds, then sat down, having delivered, undoubtedly, the shortest major address in history.
